SACRAMENTO UP I Heath Carr, the finance director and adviser to Gov. Edmund G. Brown, will resign July 2 to return to private business. He will become chairman of the board of Olis McAllister, an import export firm in San Francisco. Before joining the Brown administration in 1959, Carr was a Long Beach department store executive. Dozens aboard giant AF plane die in Tacoma crash
A large C124 Globemaster crashed shortly after takeoff from McChord Field near Tacoma.
