The State School Building Finance Committee was asked to set aside a second 50 million of a 250 million school construction bond approved last November. The allocations board expects 80 million in applications by next September as bond funds remain available for districts exhausted of local resources. The first funded project is a 299,516 elementary school in Florin California, with 39 other applications pending attorney general opinion on furniture purchases. The board also rescinded earlier allocations to Humboldt county districts to allow reapplication for bond money.
