Burglaries Probed By Deputies In Two Area Incidents

Deputies investigated two area burglaries totaling about 570 dollars in losses. The Coca Cola bottling plant at 20478 East 14th Street reported 165.95 taken from an after hours collection box, with entry by rear door lock picking. A second break in involved tools and a portable radar valued at 414 dollars stolen from a company shed, with access via an opening created earlier in the week.

Police seek a middle aged man described as English or Scandinavian descent five nine to five ten, about 45 years old weighing 100 pounds who forged two checks and claimed to work for a doctor and a Castro Valley contractor.
