Oakland reports the Alameda county planning commission will hold meetings on Wednesday afternoons starting next week to reduce conflicts with other county bodies. The change aims to free meeting chambers for contested items and supervisors sessions.

Matt J Lund of San Lorenzo died yesterday after 13 years in the community. Funeral services will be at Lorensett Brothers chapel at 2 pm Saturday, with burial in Lane Tee cemetery. He is survived by his wife Brinda J Lund and five grandchildren, plus children DeNvola, Cuarss, and Mavie Lund, and other relatives. He was an active member of the Hod Gauviers union.
HAYWARD Calif February mourns W J Sturgis 49 a former reader of Lugwacel died Sunday at his Pharur home after long illness. He previously worked at G Tirathors as a painter and lived in Hinywward for years. Survived by Mrs View Gavin Mair Qiks, Camp Taberts, and Kin Sturgia at home. Funeral rites set for Nata funeral ame Mheteeet Saeva.

Hayward High School will host the Future Farmers of America Hayward Chapter 15 installation ceremonies Friday. Officers sworn in include Neil, Christe, Dick Arnall, and Jack Fracigco with chairs Tawrence Ene finance Lenny Sil Public relations and Dave Oduvatinn to lead committee duties.
