SAN QUENTIN UP nine points bulletin issued after convicts Janes Brooks and James Mac escaped from the dairy ranch on the prison grounds. Brooks, 25, sent from San Joaquin County in 1947, and Mac, 34, from Los Angeles County sentenced in 1946 for kidnapping rape robbery and other offenses, were among the 4345 inmate population. One convict died and two others were trapped during an attempted prison break at the Maryland state penitentiary in Baltimore. Warden Edwin T.
