NEED program brings fifth graders to outdoor camps
The NEED program lets fifth grade students spend five days at an outdoor camp with their teacher to observe classroom lessons in nature. It pairs field experiences with follow up discussions to help children relate what they learn to daily life, with camps at sites including Fire Island and Prince William Forest Park.
