The Alameda County Building and Construction Trades Council charged Raineer Construction with flimsy building on the San Lorenzo tract. It protested County Building Official Marcus Carlson’s permit for 24 inch spacing of ceiling joists and interior partition studs and asked the County Board of Supervisors to halt approvals until the building code is amended to protect veterans and medium income buyers.
