Girl Injured In Carnival Plane Ride In Alvarado
A carnival ride accident in Alvarado left 12 year old RoseMario E. Rommel with minor injuries after a chair on the Chiv-G Plane ride fell as the ride operated. Deputies found a failed yellow pin caused the mishap and the girl was taken for a medical exam. Operator Margaret A. McCloskey, 36, San Francisco, was present. The victim, from Centerville, was helped by witnesses and deputies while the ride was being repaired.
