Harvey Firestone Ill Plunges to His Death
In Havana the crippled Harvey Firestone III fell from a hotel balcony to his death. Firestone, 40, of St. Petersburg, Fla., survived by wife Beverly and a 19 month old daughter, was studying law after magna cum laude from the University of Miami. The Firestone heir, grandson of the tire magnate, died during a three day visit to Cuba. Police described a fall from a third floor balcony after he crossed an aluminum grill, with an attendant in the room nearby. He had been confined to a wheelchair since birth.
