Sacramento AP reports public confusion over Prop 15 The Nuclear Power Plants Initiative. A San Leandro man Steven Campbell 31, and two other captives were released by Eritrean rebels after being seized in Ethio Finear. Campbell had lived in San Leandro from 1970 to 1972 and later worked for Collins International Service Organization in Dallas. State Department said the trio are in good health and awaiting full details from the U S embassy in Khartoum. The Americans were kidnapped July 14 and ransom status unclear.
