Offa Inquiry In Lehi Fiasco Being Prepared

Hayward Boy Injured In Car Crash
A five year old Hayward boy and an Irvington man escaped with minor injuries in two separate Hayward area car crashes last night. Dale Hilds aged five of Atherton street Hayward rode in the front seat of a 1947 sedan driven by Leon V Lawrence of Sparling drive Hayward. Lawrence turned on East 14th street at Lewelling boulevard when his car collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Dave Bishop of East 11th street Hayward. Bishop was cited by the California Highway Patrol for failing to heed a stop sign driving without a license and hit and run driving. Also treated for minor injuries was J C Gregory of Irvington whose 1949 sedan went out of control on Jackson street and struck a telephone pole east of Hesperian boulevard.
