Getaway Car Crash Injures Area Youths In San Lorenzo

A street chase in San Lorenzo ended in a crash injuring several teens. A 17 year old from Ashland remained in critical condition at Highland hospital after the car struck a telephone pole at Hampton Road and Meekland Avenue. Deputies Kenneth Lundberg and Warren Hansen reported a citizen alerted them to a car on East 14th Street and Ashland Avenue. the pursuit continued to Meekland where the vehicle sped, ran a stop sign at Lewelling Boulevard, and wrecked as it crossed San Lorenzo Creek. Two Hayward youths were taken to Fairmont emergency, with others injured. The search for the fourth rider continued as authorities investigated.

Car Rams Into Train Injuring One Man in NY

Mr Pulilzer longtime editor publisher from St Louis and head of Pulitzer Publishing Co was injured in a car train collision near Jackson Street. His wife and two sons survive him. Army to Draft 10,000 in May
