Guilty verdict in car death case at San Leandro
Olaf A Petersen of Oakland was found guilty in San Leandro municipal court of misdemeanor manslaughter for a car strike that killed 66 year old Etta B Harper at Macarthur Boulevard and Victoria Avenue on January 27. Judge Gerald P Connitt ordered a probation report and sentencing set for April 15. Mrs Harper was San Leandro's first 1957 traffic fatality. Petersen was defended by William Channel.
