Tidelands Oil Bill Introduced in California Senate

SACRAMENTO AP The two top Democrats in the California legislature introduced a tidelands oil revenue bill to fund education. The plan would shift money from tidelands oil revenue to districts with higher valuations and require a constitutional vote. The measure would gradually give Long Beach 18 percent of revenues, with the state retaining the rest.
