Tonight will be partly cloudy and cooler tomorrow with a return to cooler conditions. Temperatures tonight range from 45 to 55 degrees with northerly winds 10 to 20 mph today and westerly 10 to 26 mph tomorrow.

SACRAMENTO AP The two top Democrats in the California legislature introduced a tidelands oil revenue bill to fund education. The plan would shift money from tidelands oil revenue to districts with higher valuations and require a constitutional vote. The measure would gradually give Long Beach 18 percent of revenues, with the state retaining the rest.
