Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko arrived in London for a four day visit and held two hour talks with Foreign Secretary Michael Stewart on Viet Nam. Officials said the meeting lasted 25 minutes longer than planned, and Gromyko appeared in a jovial mood as negotiations possibly began to end the fighting in Southeast Asia.
