MacArthur Viewed as Logical Witness in Firing Probe
Washington sources say Gen Douglas MacArthur could testify in a new investigation into his 1951 dismissal by President Truman. Col Laurence E Bunker testified in secret before Senate Internal Security, claiming to reveal undisclosed Korean War policy disputes and asking who countermanded MacArthur's orders on the Yalu.
