Japan Tour Awaits TW8 WHS Pupils
Adrienne Hartzell and Schuyler Van Scoy of Fremont Washington High School will tour Japan for a month starting July 20. The 11 to 18 year old members of the 1 1 member California Youth Symphony Orchestra, invited by Asahi Shimbun, will perform 14 concerts in 10 cities and three armed forces bases. All Japan trip expenses are covered by the sponsor, with transportation costs needing fundraising. The group appears on Channel 7 and plans a Stern Grove performance in San Francisco.
