G E Beach, 44, of Hayward, rushed to help a four year old pulled seaward by a wave at Margin's beach south of Half Moon Bay. He reached the child but lost his grip to save himself. Phantom Burglar Eludes Police Again
In San Francisco the burglar who has stolen from about 30 homes in the Pacific Heights area over three months again eluded 15 policemen in eight squad cars after breaking into two more houses.
