GAC land complaints prompt FTC consent agreement
About 5000 buyers allege losses from GAC Corp developments in Iowa and Florida. FTC order refunds roughly 17 million dollars for payments beyond down payments and 40 installments, plus property exchanges where land is unusable. Refunds limited to payments since July 8 and only amounts exceeding the down payment and installments.
