A Day at Redwoode City Rich with Odd Encounters
Ray Orrock chronicles a quirky voyage through Marine World in Redwoode City, highlighting a press preview for an African World section, family outings with the wife and children, and a swing through Bev and Harry’s inventive home. He visits a ballpark to see women’s softball with the Jets and Lionettes, marvels at athletic feats, and contemplates swapping a Lionettes pitcher into a future star softball game. The diary blends travel whimsy with humorous riffs on gadgets, crowds, and local characters.
