Area Men In Service Honor Selections And Commissions
The 1st Strategic Reconnaissance Wing at Larson AFB Washington named Airman William G. Brown of Hayward for the Airman Achievement Award. Brown, a 525 cash award recipient, joined the Air Force in September 1955 after high school, later stationed at Larson. San Leandro reservists Ronald A. Stevenson and Francis J. McNamara earned commissions as Naval officers after college.
