Celebrations honor Vacaville pair in two ceremonies
Former Hayward man Michael Singleton and Auburn teacher Julie Griffin wed with a luncheon at The Nut Tree hosted by his parents and a home ceremony by Dr. Richard Griffin. The event drew family from nearby areas, with attendants including Father Jim Ghilardi and best man Robert Ross. The couple planned travel to Tahoe then Los Angeles before business trips to Montana. Separately Kay Christopher, now of San Leandro, was nominated Bicentennial Woman of the Year in Yuba City for teaching and diverse skills.
