Johnson to help launch San Francisco Bay transit project

President Lyndon B. Johnson will attend the ground breaking for the Bay Area rapid transit system at Concord on June 19. The $1 billion project will serve Contra Costa Alameda and San Francisco counties with a 4 mile trans bay tube and a capacity of 20 000 passengers per hour.
