Parade plans for June 5 mark the biggest local event as San Lorenzo Village hosts a 1:30 p.m. parade starting at David F. Marlin School. Midnight three alarm fire drives tenants onto street
A three alarm blaze in a San Francisco Duries apartment house forced 60 tenants to flee onto Broderick Street shortly before midnight. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at 7500 dollars. The fire started in the top floor apartment of Mr and Mrs Meade at 985 Broderick Street, likely caused by a cigarette. Tenants were allowed back inside after the flames were extinguished.
