Auditing Tomorrow Discusses Shared Community Auditorium
Hayward Area Recreation District directors plan tomorrow to form a advisory committee to study two proposals for a joint use auditorium with South County Junior College. A draft agreement would have HARD subsidize about 240 000 of construction costs and set shared use conditions. Also on the agenda is accepting an 75 000 federal grant for an eight acre Meek Estate park in Cherryland, with open spaces rules, and coordination with Palma Ceia Park and Recreation Committee on a small neighborhood center.
