Young America to represent U S at Expo 67 in Montreal
The Voice Of Young America, a 85 member non profit group from San Leandro, earned national notice by earning an Expo 67 invitation. Michele Rivard a Tennyson High junior credits members enthusiasm and daily rehearsals for success. Members include Ernie Pine and Ray Lienhard who joined for love of music. A fundraising concert at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, with donations requested, supports the group.
