In Sacramento lawmakers approved a moderate three-bill package AB-283-22 as Brown supports Prop 15. Senate votes 25-14 21-4 25-15 and Assembly 50-24 52-28 54-24. The measures require the Energy Commission to verify federal waste disposal and fuel recycling plans, pause new plants for a year, and set strict safety standards.
