Apparent death by own action in Castro Valley car blaze

Carl Weare a 60s retired building contractor of 20907 Wisteria Ave Castro Valley was found to have set his station wagon on fire inside a garage after pouring gasoline on the interior. Neighbors said he refused to answer and told a passerby not to bother him. The coroner lists the death as apparent self-inflicted act. Weare’s wife Paula was hospitalized in shock but released.
