Easy Win For Gov Faubus in Arkansas Primary
Gov. Orval Faubus won a six term Democratic nomination in Arkansas, aiming to unite the party for the fall race against Republican Winthrop Rockefeller. Calif Wants More Tourists Attracting Foreign Visitors
California Assemblyman Robert Crown said in Tokyo that every foreign tourist dollar is worth 2.50 to California’s economy and the state will push to close the spending imbalance. Mayor firms urged youth corps under antipoverty bill
Secretary of Labor Willard Wirtz urged mayors to form town youth corps for 150,000 unemployed youths ages 16 to 21, funded after passage of the antipoverty bill.
