BART Announces Out of Court Settlement In $28.7 Million Suit

Bay Area Rapid Transit District says it reached an out of court settlement in principle with Parsons Brinckerhoff Tudor Bechtel Rohr and Westinghouse over design and build failures. Net value to BART is $24.7 million with $14 million cash and $14 million in released claims. Settlement depends on UMTA approval and final terms.

Fires and heat mark rugged weekend coast to coast
