Artist ekes living from tiny Moghul miniatures
New Delhi artist Mazhar-Ud-Din, last Moghul miniature master, paints unsigned works for dealers to survive. He uses traditional methods, makes his own pigments, and relies on shell palettes and animal fur brushes. He earns about 1000 rupees yearly, struggles to support six children, and fears the art will die with him.
