California to require annual smog suppressor inspections

Gov. Brown proposed mandatory annual inspections for smog suppressors to enforce the law requiring installation of crankcase devices on all cars and commercial vehicles sold or transferred in California from 1964 onward. Henry A Carl 39 of Santa Clara a former prisoner for armed robbery was booked on several charges including being an ex felon with a gun in his possession.
