A revised freeway plan proposes interchanges at Mesperion and Levelling West Avenue 250th and Washington West Avenue 1d and Davis Street. Taylor Receives 120 Days For Traffic Offenses
Judge Jaco Skuder sentenced 65 year old Taylor of 2864 Tormont Drive to 120 days in Alameda County jail after a plea to multiple traffic charges following a high speed chase. He received 90 days for drunk driving and ten days for each of several violations including speeding reckless driving no license and driving without rear lights. The incident began at Castn Valley Boulevard and Redwood Road as Taylor entered the oncoming lane forcing eastbound traffic to swerve.

Man Injured When Auto Hits Truck on Castro Valley Blvd
A motorist crashed into the rear of a parked truck on Castro Valley Boulevard near Center Street. William Statham, 26, of Komanddor Village, was hospitalized at Fairmont for head lacerations and arm injuries. The truck, parked on the south shoulder, had its left rear wheels damaged. Frank Pedroncelli Jr., 23, of Kenwood, Calif., drove the striking vehicle. Authorities cited Statham for reckless driving. In a separate incident on Traude Avenue, nine-year-old Beatrice Anar suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car. the driver swerved to avoid her but could not stop in time. Beatrice was taken to a physician for treatment.
