Man arrested for kissing cop on duty in Fremont club
Kenneth Dean O Neill 25 of Canyon Heights Road was arrested for assaulting a police officer after allegedly kissing Fremont Police Department trainee Mary Donovan during a closing check at the Columbia Grill in Niles. Donovan said she faced whistles and approached him as he kissed her, then she detained him on scene. O Neill reportedly claimed the kiss was part of a $5 bet.

Unwed Pregnant Teacher Loses Transfer Lawsuit in Texas
District Judge James Ft Meyers ruled school officials can transfer an unmarried pregnant teacher. Harriett Kohi challenged the action but the court found no evidence of sex discrimination.
