Oro Loma Follows Carpenters' Advice on Labor Rules

By-Laws for a new community group in Washington Manor Acres Gardens and Sunnybill areas north of Lewelling Boulevard and west of Washington Avenue were studied by a local nuclear committee at Gino Branchini residence. Nick Lenchanko chaired. AJ Wiesun will head a sub-committee to revise the by-laws before a full committee meeting. A mass meeting of area residents will be arranged. the group aims to reduce flood danger and seek fire and police protection, recreation, and other civic improvements. A nominating committee will be chosen at the next meeting to select prospective officers and directors.

Hamilton Phillips Dies at Home in Pampa Texas
Funeral rites for the late Hamilton Phillips, 61, who died at his dus home at 1445 1601 avenue Tuesday, are being conducted today in Pampa. Remains were sent to Texas yesterday under the auspices of Pratt-Flier Mortuary. Husband of Mrs. Virginia Phillips, who died recently, he was a retired farmer and a native of North Carolina. He was father of C. P. Phillips of the 166th avenue address.
