San Francisco report states Kenneth Kerwin, who claims to be Charles A Lindbergh Jr, sues the Lindbergh estate in Hawaii aided by lawyer Robert Bryan. Kerwin alleges a 40 year kidnapping, hypnosis driven memories, and growth on a New England hilltop farm with a nursemaid and her boyfriend. The suit cites four years of research and challenges Hauptmann's execution as a wrongful conviction.

The civil trial on 28 counts of alleged violations of state codes closed Tuesday and Hayes set five days for replies. Glickman asserts the state licensed and inspected the facility and did not warn it was operating illegally, blaming placement by social welfare agencies and alleging some residents were improperly placed and may have mental illness rather than retardation. He argues damages should reflect closer to intentional wrongdoing and notes the Guidottis have suffered financially and reputationally as their 12-year business ends.
