William Kelsay 62 a Hayward resident and former Alameda Belt Line Railroad worker died yesterday. He leaves five children Ellen Colton Catherine Green Dorothy Ott Hugh P. Kelsay and Betty Heitman 18 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren plus three sisters Harriet Mantis Bessie Cales and Nora Oding all of Redding. Requiem Mass Monday 9 30 a m at St Joachim's Hayward Rosary Monday 7 30 p m at Hayward Mortuary Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Hayward.
Charles C Ciulla 67 died Tuesday in a Livermore hospital. Services Monday at Sorensen Brothers Mortuary Hayward with burial at Golden Gate National Cemetery San Bruno. He served as a Marine master sergeant, was a Bank of America trust officer in Oakland, and belonged to Lorenz Masonic Lodge 700 and BPOE 171. He resided in San Leandro and had relatives in New York and California.
Washington AP military writer Elton C Fay received a Defense Department citation from Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara as he retires after a long career covering military affairs for the Associated Press.
