14 Year Old Shoots Both His Parents
A 14 year old boy, Donald Arceo, confessed to shooting his mother Dorothy and father John in their Oakland home while they watched TV. He said he loved them and claimed it was an accident while aiming at a TV image. He later drove the family car toward Hanford, Calif., then confessed to a priest and turned himself in. He was booked for investigation of murder.

Emspak Convicted In Contempt Of Congress
Julius Emspak a 48 year old secretary for the United Electrical Workers was convicted of contempt of Congress by Federal Judge Dickinson Letts for refusing to answer questions about communism before the House Un American Activities Committee.
