Shooting Victim Recovering In Linwood Hospital
The most seriously wounded of four victims of a policeman in a rico shooting was listed in satisfactory condition at St. Francis Hospital in Lynwood. Albert Crews, 48, of ML Prospect, Texas, was removed from the arrival list Wednesday after being struck in the head by a shot fired by Officer J. Stencel. The bullet glanced off the street, also shattering a car windshield driven by Kenneth LeDue, 45, of Glendale, who along with passengers Ann Cosgrave, 43, and Celia Moran, 49, suffered minor cuts from the flying glass.
