Indiana trucking executive Forrest Crowell and Eleanor Crowell wed Thursday in Phoenix. Their private airplane crashed on a foggy hill near Livermore California, killing both and leaving Crowell outside the wreck beside his wife as rescuers arrived after a long, difficult recovery.
In Fremont a Concord father Gif ford T. Hart 64 and his son Gifford 17 were killed when their small car struck a car skidding in their lane. Mrs Ruby J. Hart 45 and daughter Deborah 19 were taken to Washington Hospital with multiple injuries. Henry Turner 19 Palo Alto and Gene Ratner 42 Redwood City escaped injury. The crash occurred about 6 40 p m two miles west of the toll plaza on a two lane bridge.
