Frazier regrets Santa Cruz mansion murders in court
John Linley Frazier, on death row at San Quentin, told reporters he regrets the Santa Cruz mansion killings “very much” but said explaining his actions would take thousands of words. He spoke as the 25 year old former mechanic awaited execution after being found guilty of murdering Dr Victor Ohta, his wife, two sons, and a secretary. The murder scene bore a tarot note declaring war on environmental destroyers and the mansion burned as fire and police blocked entrances. He declined to elaborate on sanity, saying his view is based on natural values rather than material ones. A judge prepared to sentence him to death after motions for a new trial were discussed.
