Pro Juventure stamp set aids Swiss youth foundation
The 1963 Pro Juventute issue funds 30 percent of surcharge revenue to the Swiss foundation aiding destitute children, with five stamps including a portrait by Albert Anker. Remaining stamps continue the flower series, and distribution details note the Cobnlius Gambia and its birds stamp set with Queen Elizabeth portrait. Norway marks Edvard Munch’s bicentennial with four stamps in black, green, red brown, and blue, honoring the artist and his role in expressionism.
