Postpone Atomic Leak Hearings
Washington reports that the House Un American Activities Committee postponed hearings on alleged wartime Russian atomic espionage until after Congress reconvenes on January 3. Royal E. Norton, a 29 year old Clem Jean College senior, claims Russians obtained blueprints via the lend lease pipeline. Norton cites parachute packs and a Catalina crew as sources. Committee chairman John Wood said the delay allows investigators to review new allegations and corroborate Norton's story.
