Two Greyhound buses collide injuring nine near Livermore
A bus load of Greyhound passengers suffered minor injuries in two back to back head on crashes yesterday. In the first crash a pickup driven by Arthur F West crossed the center line and hit a bus driven by Elbert J Emery, injuring West and a passenger Lloyd Beam. The second crash near ten miles south involved a coach driven by Thurman Durns and a bus driven by Willian R Rinehart. seven passengers were injured. Police investigated a hazed Duncan in a wrecked car with a bottle of whiskey on the floor. Passengers were treated at St Pauls and Permanente hospitals.
