March of Dimes Poster Boy Honored From San Leandro
Leandro, a 14 year old son of Edwin and Mrs. Henninger, is named March of Dimes poster boy amid the 1967 campaign. He visits Children’s Hospital in Oakland twice weekly for therapy and represents afflicted children nationwide. He is active at Sunset School in Hayward and attends birth defect charity events with Sheriff Frank Mati and local officials.
