Special Bay Fair Concert Set by San Leandro Band
The San Leandro Municipal Band directed by Manuel C. Madeiros will perform Christmas music at Bay Fair Shopping Center on Saturday December 12 at 1 90 p m Greeting the Candy Cane Bus before marching to the center court for a program including Star Spangled Banner Children s March and selections from Golden Bells of St Marys Parade of the Wooden Soldiers Stars and Stripes Forever On the Mall and My Fair Lady among others The event is part of Bay Fair Christmas activities with Elaine Castro accordion students and The Legends choral group plus a Santa Clara themed piece listed as well as other mall entertainment through December 19.

Beatrice Maberry 21 from Washington state returned from West Germany and Hans Fischer 26 from Post Zweibruecken spent six months in the United States sponsored by General Foods.
