Suit Faced By Regents Over Death
AP reports in San Diego that the University of California Board of Regents faces a $100,000 damage suit filed in Superior Court by Mrs. Palrieia Mary O'Conner Dickson of San Diego for her grandson Mark James 14 of Honolulu. Her husband David B. O'Conner died December 4 from a perforated ulcer in an Australian hospital after serving aboard the Horizon, a Scripps Institution of Oceanography ship.
