Leisure and rest in Aristotle’s view of free time
The essay surveys how modern workers misuse leisure, arguing Aristotle divides life into sleep, work, play, leisure, and rest. It asserts true leisure promotes mind and community growth, with rest offering contemplation and worship beyond utilitarian aims. It also notes a new Gateway to the Great Books edition amid cultural offerings.
