Misadventure on a Monterey Weekend and Car Troubles
A Fremont couple’s trip north toward Monterey and Carmel erupts into a weekend of car trouble. A deer collision, a Jones Box electrical fault, multiple rental swaps, and a hotel fire interrupt their plans while they improvise transport, juggling tow trucks, AAA, and a string of mishaps across 174 miles. The story blends travel misfortune with comic relief from rental woes and family dynamics.
