Statewide forecast shows fair conditions through Thursday with warmer temperatures in many regions. Coastal and Bay Area areas report highs in the 70s with light to moderate west winds, while Sacramento and San Joaquin Valley reach near 90s. Northern valleys and coastal zones expect morning fog and modest northwest winds. some uncertainty and garbled digits present in places.

In Alexandria Virginia two seven year old girls Maria Teresa Moreley and Rita Ohlgren were found unharmed after being missing since Sunday. FBI agents located them Tuesday in a second floor apartment awaiting their families. They had been trapped by a faulty bathroom lock and survived two nights in a vacant unit. The girls said they had gone in to play.
The United States aims to station an unarmed ambulance near the Berlin Wall to humanitarianly assist the injured without entering East Berlin.
